Title: Phineas Gage
Author: John Fleischman
Genre: Non-fiction
150 years ago a man named Phineas Gage was working on a railroad when he had a horrible accident that changed the world. In the year of 1848 while working as a fore man Phineas had accident that was cased by a explosion leaving a hole in his head. The case of Phineas changed the way the way the world and scientist look at the brain.
The author really didn’t have a theme it was more of a question or him being lucky or unlucky. The author said that Phineas was lucky but I think its all perspective there is no such thing as luck. Why well it all depends on the way you look at it.
I hated this book it was sooooooo boring for example it goes on and on about the brain. Plus what boy likes a book with no action. Exactly NOT ME! If I had to rate this book I would be a 0 STAR. I would not recommend this book to anyone unless you are interested in boring brain gibberish.
